Cantilena is a well established choir based in Glastonbury in the heart of Somerset.

The choir enjoy performing a truly comprehensive range of music in the course of three concerts annually. This includes enchanting music at Christmas both traditional and modern, major works in the spring including those by Bach, Handel and Mozart, whilst traditional English folksongs and madrigals feature in our summer concerts.

We are privileged to have Tony Bevan as our Music Director and with his patient guidance and encouragement, we rise to any challenge that he cares to lay before us. Indeed, Plainsong to Poulenc, Baroque to Britten defines the scope of music we enjoy.

We are a friendly and inclusive choir, extending a warm welcome to new members. Our rehearsals are on Tuesdays during term time, from 7.30-9.00 pm at Street Quaker Meeting Hall.
